I wonder if this book would get banned? I wonder if a black man would even write such a book or is it only intellectual white men that find this kind of thing intellectual pleasing? I wonder if this thread will get pulled? I wonder if the other one will get pulled? Not starting a row here or anything, it's just the perfect opportunity to highlight the double-standards of political correctness!

take time to read the book and you will find the title refers to a balancing out of the fear of the black man - the man you expect to mug you, attack you in the street etc. white man is actually the one who steals your money (corporate crime - the biggest crime of all)and sells arms to agressors who will one day use them on you...... think about it.

Pete, I see your point, but that's not the book's point. I suspect the title was chosen because it is eye-catching and controversial... it certainly got you didn't it!

Not really, I mean I aint about to go out and buy it, so it didn't achieve it's aim with me. Yeah I kind of expected that the book wouldn't be how it sounds, but that's aint me point.

Pete I know where you are coming from on this, my flatmate and I joke about this all the time. It is perfectly acceptable nowadays to release a book called 'stupid white men'or a film called 'white men can't jump' etc, or for instance a record store can put on their sign 'black music specialists' (Red Records) or even to call themselves 'Blacker Dread Records'(sp?) while it would be totally unacceptable to write 'stupid black men', 'black men can't swim' etc etc etc. I don't find any of the slogans or titles rascist personally if you know what point they're trying to get across they are usually justifiable, but i do find it amusing that the anyone doing the opposite would be castrated in our modern society.

There's nothing amusing about being castrated. Ask Saxon if you don't believe me.

is it racist when a fellow white man critisizes his fellow white men? is it then racist when black rappers refer to ******s? me thinks there is a difference..... So what you're saying is that a word, if used by one person, is pejorative, yet if used by another, it isn't? That there are words that one part of the population can use and another part can't? Do me a favour. This is political correctness spiralling out of control.
