It never stops being funny. All the funnier since it is based on a true story about Black Sabbath in reverse.
They ordered a stage prop Stonehenge of a sensible size and got one that was much too big.

They had bugger all else to do I suppose.

People are fascinated by Stonehenge but no one talks about Carnac in France which truly remarkable.
I'm going there in a few weeks, so I will report on its relative splendour.

It's not so much the actual structure as the engineering involved and the fact that they knew this stone existed so far away and were ready and able to transport it to where they wanted.

Tres drole.

Why do the French make omelettes with only one egg?

Because in France one egg is un oeuf.

Yes, it's amazing.

I guess it's hard to put yourself in the mindset of neolithic people or know what level of technology that had acquired and from where they go it.

And whoever came up with the original idea must've been a very convincing speaker. Or a dictator.

This is going to be a devolution headache.
Will the Welsh be wanting their triptychs back ? Then the Scots will be after their stone too ?
Or is there going to be a rental charge ?

Yes, that level of dedication would have to require strong motivation of one sort or another.
