Leaving all my soppy romanticism aside, which loves Jordan, he is the kind of player who might inspire groans of 'We need better/younger/more attacking threat' on a cold Tuesday night but every other day of the week you want to stay. A tough one, he'll not live unappreciated in my memory if he does go, but there is an argument to say we have to move on.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I think most of us would be happy to see him stay, but preseason suggests he is unlikely to be a starter when everyone is fit. At his age and with everything he has done for Palace you couldn't begrudge him a move if it was for first-team football. Edited by taylors lovechild (14 Aug 2024 8.46am)

Wouldn't begrudge him a move, but he's still got a v important role to play. Feels like the kind of player that will just get his head down and help in any way he can.

We need a quality squad and he should be part of that. Wouldn’t let him go whilst under contract

According to the Mail, Leicester have put a £4m bid in for him, let's see what pans out.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

He's worth a lot to us. He holds the ball well, draws fouls at an astonishing rate, plays excellent defense, and seldom makes a selfish play. His only weakness is finishing, but we don't need that as desperately as we used to. He should be an automatic sub if we have a lead with 15 minutes remaining.

4mm to a rival is a definite no. 10mm is a lot of money. I can only think of 3 players we've sold for more, Bolaise, AWB, Olise. Maybe Sorloth? I think if it's true, then we take the money and invest in a player with more years left.
