...which city would you choose. I refer of course to rhyming slang for mammaries, with apologies to female posters (and moderaters) for any perceived sexism. I was just wondering why Bristol was chosen, but there is a certain assonance and alliteration and the 'city' suffix is memorable because it differentiates with rovers. So reference to 'Cardiffs' or 'Oxfords' would not work. Chesters is too literal and they're not in the league atm, Manchesters is too much of a mouthful (no pun intended), Lincolns isn't bad although people might think of cars, personally if I couldn't use Bristols, for whatever reason, that's not important. I'd go for Bradfords. I'd be most interested in other people's choices. Don't worry chaps, only a week to go.

Well, it's certainly true that Bristol has its fair share of tits....they just aren't of the variety most of us would like to see.

TRIVIA

A soft p*** film called 'See You Next Wednesday' features in 'An American Werewolf In London'. The generously-titted female in the p*** movie is called 'Brenda Bristols'.

Brenda Bristols was played by p*** actress Linzi Drew, who is the mother of Tyger Drew-Honey. He played the eldest child in 'Outnumbered', and I believe his father was also a p*** actor or perhaps a p*** film maker.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Ok allow me to be a bit of a nerd.

Rymning slang (aka cockney rhyming slang,) was used by dockers and those linked to the docks along the Thames.

The next biggest trading port for a time was Bristol hence Bristols as boats used to stop at one then the other.
