Officially an Eagle!

Perhaps an Olise replacement but if so great that we're in there early.

Free transfer, an exciting addition in any instance, on the first day in July.

Kudos Palace, welcome Daichi and COYP!!!

More than ‘decent’, I think ‘exciting.’ Why only two years I wonder? I suppose because he will be 30 at the start of the 2026/27 season.

Seems like a very smart piece of business and I think it's really good to get in a player that Glasner has previously worked with.

Welcome Daichi

Not to mention the commercial gains from this signing. Expect to see more Japanese fans in the ground.

The fact he's successfully worked with Glasner already means he should be able to slot right in and hit the ground running. Good technique and a high work rate are also attributes that should quickly endear him to everyone.

Exciting times

or because that's also how long Glasner's current contract is.

Very very good signing, especially on a free

With Lerma last season we are starting to utilise this market better than we have previously.

I guess keeping his options open, I think he only signed 1 (with an option or 2 year extension) at Lazio.

This is a great signing people. He's a top quality player and strengthens us without a doubt. As somebody else has mentioned he also adds a commercial value to the club.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I bet Kamada checked that Glasner is planning to see out his contract.

We're strongly linked with two other players that Glasner has worked with.
It may be agent talk, or people putting 2 and 2 together because of past associations, but I get the firm impression that Glasner is having more of a say on transfer dealings than recent managers.
