Would like to see Marc earning what he is due, so hopefully we can keep him a little longer. To offset his salary offload Edouard. Bench player at best, salary used better elsewhere.

There is no doubt that Guehi is a valuable asset to Palace and one I would definitely like to keep! BUT probably the least important of our top performers.

If books need to be balanced or more players need to be added to the squad then unfortunately Mark will probably be easiest and least impactful to fulfill that requirement.

Its not easy to offload players who are earning way more then they deserve.

Correct, i would give him a free, if he will go, and save the 5m wages

Guehi's injury absense proved the team can easily cope without him. His (so far) refusal to extend his contract makes Palace financially vulnerable to getting less for him than he is worth (or worse, nothing at all).
With a value generally accepted at anywhere between £50m & £60m currently and with no Maguire and injury doubt over Stones Guehi is almost definitely going to play a big part in the Euros. If he performs really well that £50m valuation will likely turn into an £80m bidding war between United, Spuds, maybe even City might enter the race.
For me I think Parish is doing the right thing in being patient and keeping quiet. Once the Euros are done and Guehi has played his part I think selling him to the highest bidder is a no-brainer.
Worst case scenario we only get £50m for him (unlikely). Even with that amount we have funded incoming signings, put some money in the bank for Glasner to use in January if needed and it keeps the club well inside FFP while takes all pressure off to sell anyone else, effectively enabling the club to keep the rest of the team together.

Surely the absolute minimum for MG would be £60 million. Look what other defenders have gone for. Then if he plays well for England as he is very likely down as a starter from the off, upwards of £80million. Win win for us.

We did very well without him but keeping him and getting him to sign a new contract would show real intent and give a signal to the rest of the key players OG and SP mean business next season.

Taking the offered opportunity - am I progressing well (ability at times to express myself in words that I understand, but others might not appreciate?
