Been trying to watch but raining on and off and sick of the ads. I'd say the England match is called off by now. Anyone been watching? Saw USA won - Ireland tomorrow I think.

Well done USA, great win today. I felt bad for Ireland having to face India's quicks on that sh*t pitch. Game should have been abandoned as it was dangerous.

I was expecting a full stadium - near New York and Ireland v India - yet it looked around half full. Going to watch the cricket didn't look on the New York Irish agenda. The crowd looked mainly Indian.

Disappointing England performance. An odd decision to give Jacks the second over, he got smashed around and the Aussies never looked back.

Plus England showed Australia how to bowl. Worst decision was to field first iny opinion. It would have been handy to have had a look at the pitch while batting and putting up a decent score - plus tiring the Aussies in the heat. Poor decisions all around. Not convinced by batting order either.

As expected against Oman so far. England will need to knock their runs out as fast as possible.

What happened to the crowd for England v Oman? There was hardly anyone in the stands. Couldn't they at least have given a load of cheap tickets to the Antiguans? Not a good look for a cricket world cup.

It's looking very likely that England won't be in a position to win their final match. I'm trying to think of any other sport where the world champions can be eliminated because it rained. Edited by YT (15 Jun 2024 6.52pm)
