Second part of this article links us with the Japanese player who is currently playing for Lazio but played for Glasner at Frankfurt and is nearing the end of his contract. Not familiar with him but feels like it may have some legs.

100% makes sense. Very solid, experienced player. Contract expiring next week. Has played under Glasner before. Would compliment our attacking unit considerably.

He has the option to extend his contract by 3 years but must do so before the end of this month so we will soon know whether this rumour has legs.

Is he seen as a potential replacement for Eze I wonder or as a bulking up of the squad with a classy player? Obviously I hope it is the latter.

I think I'm just about right in saying that Eze plays roaming/inside forward/ advanced playmaker on the left in the Glasner system. I would think Kamada would be central, more CAM or shadow striker. The we'd have a very strong option to change the system depending on the game. Although I suspect Kamada can play wide as well.

From YouTube clips he looks to have a similar style to Olise in the way he moves, his passing, and his quick thinking to avoid challenges. If we did somehow get him for free then on the surface that would be some statement signing.

Looks like rumours are intensifying, and that Lazio cant match our contract offer. He's a classy operator, and would provide some great senior depth to the squad. As we've seen with Lerma, there are great free transfers out there. We need to utilise the market as much as possible

Click bait said he was staying at Lazio. Now click bait are saying that talks have collapsed and he is coming to us. Obviously he is playing one club off against the other. My guess is that Lazio are not prepared to match wages with us. Obviously we all would want players who are desperate to sign for Palace but it's the world we live in he's entitled to get the best deal he can. He's played and thrived under Glasner so let's hope he chooses us.

If the stories are true then Lazio have until the end of today to agree a deal under some weird situation in which he signed a one-year deal last summer with both parties having the option of another three years. One possible concern is that it wasn't until the final eight games that he was a regular starter. His lack of game time might be another reason that he might be open to a move?
