This was the event which had her demanding Johnson had to go. Am not expecting her to do as she preaches though.

This type of thing will not stop Labour winning the most seats in the election but might just mean a few slip by them

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I doubt anything will happen.

I don't think this is significant (yet). Raynor can choose to say nothing or simply repeat that she doesn't believe she has done anything wrong.

She will have a lawyer with her so she is unlikely to say anything that is demonstrably false.

Still she had this coming, people in glass houses etc.

Nothing will be done - it doesn't take this long to work out whether she was in the wrong or not - they are just treading water to look like they investigated properly, that's all.
Andy Burnham will have been in the top mans ear, telling him to let her off and suddenly everything is rosy again in Labour's garden.
I would love it if she gets done - as she should be - but it won't happen and we will have to listen to her horrible voice and watch that smug grin while the BBC have it everywhere for weeks.

Angela Rayner: No police action after council house probe

Called this one wrong. Was convinced they would prosecute and she would have to step down from her Deputy PM role.

Still, everything is politics and whilst I would/do love to believe this was down to the usual back room dealings, it is what it is.

Still tainted though and won’t shrug it off so easily. May prove a bit of a burden to no mark.

Maybe. But Labour need her at the moment. Their support has its cracks appearing from both the Muslims and the Lefties. She can certainly help with the later lot and she has been wheeled out to try and shore up the Muslim vote as well.

All that 'woman of the people' malarky comes much more naturally from her than it does Starmer.

My conspiracy seeking mind does wonder if this election had not been called now then perhaps the outcome might have been different but even I have to sometimes concede that you just have to accept things at face value and move on.

Irony is surely that her seat is the one Galloway is fighting for I. Haven’t googled so could be miles out

The longer this story went on the more it was all about smoke and mirrors.

It wouldn't surprise me if Raynor is guilty but you have to have evidence not suspicions.

I doubt this will have any impact on the GE.

guilty of what? Avoiding a small amount of capital gains tax?
As HMRC has already told her there is nothing to pay this is surely a non story.

Maybe the papers could focus on all the MPs who own 2 or more houses, get tax payers to pay for all expenses including mortgage costs on their 2nd home and then 'flip' which home is their main residence to avoid Capital gains when they sell them. As per George Osbourne. This saved him tens of thousands.
