It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Great signing on a free, but he's leaving west ham for game time, don't see him getting in our team.

I've never heard of this guy can one of the experts on here give us a brief summary.

Is it the Mitchell position? Can he play wing back, is he any good?

I am not professing to be any "Expert" (Far from it) but from a recent conversation I gleaned the following.

Ben Johnson used to be a winger but was converted into an attack-minded right-back at W.Ham. He is right-footed but has been deployed at left-back and at left wing-back, he is content to cross with his left-foot and has scored with his left foot low into the corner from the edge of the area.It was also asserted that he can play anywhere across the back four, accordingly versatility is one of his strengths.

Thanks Willow so possible squad replacement for Ferguson / Ward Clyne and Mitchell. He's going to be busy

He's fine and gives us helpful depth of decent quality and much more athleticism, but Coufal has comfortably kept him out of the West Ham team so he's far from the Messiah.

I'd suspect Johnson coming in would probably mean Clyne going out.

TBF, Coufal is one of the best attacking full-backs in the Prenmier League

There would likely be a signing on fee and he wants to up his salary -but from a current 20,000 per week that should not be an issue. With Tomnkins, Clyne and ,probably, Guehi bat least going we definitely need some bodies at the back. Ideally, he will flourish and at least be a good first option off the bench
