I do love a good conspiracy theory - there may be nothing in it but its an interesting suggestion - Red Bull as the new owners & for sure the naming rights of the new main stand would be taken care of.

Red bull gives you wings and hopefully a few wingers
When your children are teenagers, it’s important to have a dog so that someone in the house is happy to see you |

I like the OP's logic but until Parish confirms that a bid is being considered it is just a theory. My own theory is that until now Palace have not had any serious bids, Parish has said he gets chancers all the time e.g. Glazier style. I think the main reason serious bidders are holding back is the asking price and the ground redevelopment cost. Buying the a club now you inherit the risk that the construction costs could spiral out of control HS2 style. I think once the development is finished and the debt is know there will be plenty of suitors. Edited by Badger11 (22 Feb 2024 9.02am)

Just a theory. I just find it a strange appointment. Thoughts? ------------------------------------------------------------------- What an interesting way to start a Thursday morning. It's all a bit fanciful but there is something about it that makes me go "Yeah, that makes some sense". For the new stand to go ahead, we need serious financial commitment. The americans seem to want out and Red Bull can't be short of a bob or two...... I would have thought that Glasner would only come to CP if he was assured that there would be money to spend to implement a new era. He just seems to good for us unless.... Why not?

Red Bull make about 10 billion euros p.a. Still owned by the founders families. My guess would be that our board have given Glasner some sort of nod for close season transfer funds.
