He has stepped down.

I'm relieved from a footballing stance but hope this paves the way for fond memories shared of him as opposed to vitriol and criticism.

Best of luck Roy.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The right decision but a really sad way for it to end. All the best to Roy.

I wholeheartedly concur with these sentiments.
He will always be welcome at Selhurst Park.

A more gracious exit than a sacking.

Thank you Roy.

All the very best Roy, I hope you have a great retirement.

Let's hope the club invite him back for the last home game so he gets a lap of appreciation.

It would be disengenuous of me to pretend that I haven't been calling for his head for a couple of months so, from a pure footballing perspective, I'm glad it's over now.

However, it didn't sit right with me to see how toxic it became and the end and I think it's a real shame that he didn't go in the summer on a high.

I hope he recovers very well and we see him back at Selhurst before the end of the season to properly say goodbye.

Pleased he has been given a soft landing. He is a gent, and deserves to be fondly remembered by all CPFC supporters.

But it is time to move on.
