Just read the BBS very predictably they are blaming the Daily Fail rather than the politician.

Their main gripe being that the Mail drip fed the story over several days holding back the really bad stuff until Starmner had backed the guy making him look foolish.

I'm not sure why people think that the former Labour candidate won't still win. I'm sure what he said about Israel will go down very well with a large portion of Rochdale. We all know which portion.
I'd like to see a big Reform Party vote there, but I doubt it will be enough given the demographic.

The country needs to prepare for a huge increase in voting based on religion, mainly thanks to that scumbag Tony Blair.

The candidate is still on the ballot paper, you can vote for him but he won't be able to become Labour MP.

Israel is behaving outrageously and the public may well think that the tories and labour are supporting them.

The Green party has been unequivocal on the Gaza issue from the start they have a good candidate.
