According to this . . . [Link] We are after this lad from West Brom. Will they do business with us after the Ferguson debacle & is there something wrong going on? We have Johnstone, Henderson, Mathews & Whitworth, Goodman from the U21's. Do we really need another 'keeper?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Perhaps to replace Matthews and permit us to sell one of Johnstone and Henderson?

I have been in conversation about Josh Griffiths only recently.
I was told that whilst playing for Cheltenham on loan from WBA about 3 years ago, he got caught-out by the bounce of a wind-assisted goal kick by Newport County goalkeeper Tom King and the ball sailed over his head and into the net.

I am advised he is an excellent shot-stopper, commands his area and can kick the ball a long distance. He is as tall as a hop pole, well 'North' of 6 ft.

I think a keeper in the transfer window and no one else will be apt.

The Johnstone situation is a mystery.

If I was him, I'd be looking to leave Palace in the summer.

So that's my expectation and why Palace are looking at Griffiths.

I am advised he was on the bench for WBA on Saturday away at Ipswich.

Henderson has had his critics but I don't believe he can be held accountable for any of the goals last night.

Henderson has the worst save percentage of 24 Premier League goalkeepers this season by a long way - 57.8%. Next worse is 62.7%. Worrying, the next worse after that is Sam Johnstone...

To give an idea of how bad being 5% behind the next worse is, the best goalkeeper is only at 75%.

I'd imagine any Griffiths interest is to cash in on one of the current two. For me, I'd be keeping Johnstone. I still cannot fathom why we bought Henderson.

He was ok.

I tend to agree here. However, after seeing both now, I think Johnstone is better. I also believe Johnstone instills more belief in the defence as he commands the area slightly better than Henderson.
Henderson is starting to remind me of Hennessey - looks the part ok but never really stops much.

Especially not for £20 Million. Forest just picked up a new number one for £5 Million
