Munoz---Andersen---Richards---Michell
Let hungry young potential run at Chelsea. We are not expected to win this by anybodies opinion so if we are going to lose it why not lose it by giving it a go. ATTACK! About time we played with a bit of flair like the old days plus let's try Franca as a number 10. ALSO put our best keeper out there and give us half a chance. Let's be positive. We CAN beat Chelsea. Well like you I'd like to see Franca as the 10 but if Rak-Sakyi isn't ready to start, I'd play Ahamada as the 10 with Franca on the left and Ayew on the right. And like you, I'd tell them to go for it. Chelsea struggle when teams attack them.

Well he played an ultra-defensive lineup against a team that had not scored in January and had lost 4-0 to Luton in their previous game. God knows what he will do at home against a team that has shipped 4 in consecutive games. Probably start Tomkins and Holding

Roy's got his money he won't mind just doing the usual. Or will he have a cunning plan aka Blackadder and save the day? And play Henderson, Hughes and Schlupp? The very thing those krauts won't be expecting after so many failures? That Roy will play the WORST players AGAIN? Thereby catching them off-guard by doing the very thing so obviously ridiculous that we all know has failed before that they won't expect it! Hooray! Hoorah! Prediction:

Johnstone Lerma---Wharton França---Ahamada---Ayew
Thought Franca looked reasonably ok when he came on, but too early for JRS to start. To try to keep a semblance of shape I'd put Ahamada in. However knowing Roy as we do I'd expect Hughes and Jeff to start. I do get Roy's desire to play the more experienced heads. But 3 pretty defensive CMs and Schupp who isn't really a winger just destroys the offensive shape. I have been anti putting Franca in, but I think now we have to play the best players in each positions.
