Posting this at half of the s*** Brighton match to make me feel better. Gold member from the States, first time trying to get tix to an away match instead of at Selhurst. Couple questions. Registered for the ticket ballot a bit ago and looks like Feb 3rd (date of this post) is the day. I'm assuming I didn't get drawn since I haven't heard anything. Can anyone give me any more info on this? If there are still tickets available after the ballot, when would they be released for members? Figure Season Ticket holders would get first dibs. Our flights are already booked, and I'm sure we can get tickets on the secondary market if the normal route doesn't happen. Just would love to be in the away section. Thanks for any help/info.

Hi there With regard to your question about the ballot, the tickets for this game haven't gone on sale yet. They will go on sale either later this week or early next week. My understanding is that if you haven't heard anything from the club by when the tickets go on sale, you haven't been successful in the ballot. Priority for away tickets is decided according to how many loyalty points you have and tickets for away games are sold in phases according to loyalty point holding. Loyalty points are built up over several seasons by being a season ticket holder, member, going to home and away games, buying club merchandise etc. It doesn't matter whether you are a season ticket holder or a member, the number of loyalty points you have is the all-important factor. The Spurs away game will be popular - relatively close, a London derby and not on TV - so the number of loyalty points needed to get a ticket will be high - at least 3,000 I would say but even that might not be enough. If you wanted a ticket for the away game at Everton which will be much less popular - much further away, on Monday night and on TV, you could probably get a ticket as a member without any loyalty point requirement. I have attached the news item from the club website giving details of the timetable and loyalty point thresholds for the recent Arsenal away game so you can get an idea how it works. So if you aren't successful in the ballot and you don't have several thousand loyalty points, you are unlikely to be able to buy a ticket from the club. You might be able to pick up a ticket on here from someone who bought a ticket but then finds they can't go, but a lot of people will probably be trying to do the same thing so I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket. Otherwise you might have to go to a ticket reselling site as you suggest in your e-mail. I hope you manage to get a ticket one way or another.

Was able to snag 2 away section tickets yesterday (2/14) with my gold and my wife's gold memberships in section 118. Couldn't double up this morning (2/15) as it's sold out. Got on the waiting list on both memberships for additional tickets. But if anyone is selling 1 or 2 in any of the away sections, I'll gladly pay and take them off your hands.
