Are we ever going to sign anyone,yet another week goes by and nothing happens except all sorts of rubbish is talked,it really is dissapointing that we are so moribund after 10 years in the top division,we really have a pathetic lack of desire at the top of the management tree!!

It looks likely we will get a right back, however mid season is never a good time for major signings as they will always be overpriced.....exactly because the selling club knows a certain amount of desperation is there and that few clubs can afford to sell high quality players in the middle of a season themselves....and won't unless something like a release fee figure is reached.

We all know how this story goes - we’ve been there before..!! Munoz deal probably already done - but PR team off shooting an elaborate video of him on a train then walking up Holmesdale Road - with the headline from Colombia to Selhurst dah de dah..!! As for Wharton, James and anyone else - will be the same rhetoric we tried but January window so difficult - again dah de dah..!! If you are the appointed Sky Sports reporter at the Cope - take the day off now - there will be nothing to report..!! I hope and will be delighted if I’m wrong - but it all has the feeling of deja vu..!!
