Roy will probably go with the usual suspects Schlupp Hughes Clyne and sub on Tomkins

For me, Edouard is too slow, seems lazy (or unfit), cannot hold up the ball and loses it way too often. I prefer Mateta, who has been much better recently - even without any decent service.

Lerma is no Macca, sadly. He seems to be unable to complete passes. So with Doucore not available, I guess he's the best we have available.

I think Ayew has been our best player for quite a while, so it would be great to see him back.

As a kid in the mid-1950s, seeing the old floodlights from our kitchen window in Whitworth Road, the writing was on the wall.

Even if we complete the signing of Muñoz I suspect he will be on the bench at best.

Roy will want time on the training ground with him first and Clyne has been a fairly steady option recently.
