Match between our 2012/13 team in their prime (including Speroni, Ward, Parr, Bolasie, KG, Jedinak, Murray, Philips, Delaney, McCathy, Mortiz and Wilf) against our current lot... who do'ya think would win? Personally I think the 2012 team would win by grit, determination and flair.

Jedinak/KG in a physical battle vs Lerma/Hughes? I know where my money would be.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The current lot would walk it IMO - standard of the league has improved a lot in the last 10 years. Olise running at Johnny Parr would be a massacre.

And mine, don't forget team built, and coached by Freedman yeah but I seem to recall Parish had to step in and have a chat in the car park, so putting the team together might have been more luck (lack of cash) than judgment on DF's part if the chairman has to tell you how they should be playing

In my opinion a full strength current side would win. For all our current woes our present first choice line-up has greater depth of quality. On its day that 2012/2103 side were good but I also remember seeing some dire performances in the second half of that season when we went on something like a 10 game run without a win.
