Any update on genuine potential additions to the playing staff? Clearly we are not buying anyone, Roy would need a full season to gently bed them in.

We bring in a loan or 2 Roy still wont use them correctly. In my opinion if Freedman had more freedom I could see us recruitment wise doing a lot better and replacing a lot of the deadwood. I still believe a lot of this is down to SP. If SP left even with the same ownership minus him I believe you would see fair amount of changes how the club is run for the better. I dont see us doing much this window and if we do it wont be quality signings be average players we get on cheap or over pay in wages for. WHich I agree on if you have new manager coming in money should be for them.

I am awaiting the announcement of Wilf Zaha, on loan until the summer, on the evening of deadline day. -------------------------------- Would need to be careful how he is used. Preferably as an impact substitute, in the starting lineup could stifle the growth of young players who need to develop. Certainly use for 30/40 minutes could upset the opposition: Palace supporters would need to know how he is being used.
