0-1 14min. Sloppy defending & play so far. Immray & Umeh are good for us. Plange is little boy lost(imo)

HT 1-1

Immray is the standout player for us this half. Umeh has some serious pace AND can cross the ball. Plane is floating across the front line. Not sure about Ola-Adebomi, he's tall & gangly but his positional sense(in this game) is poor. Feel we have enough to win this. 2nd half to come.

Plange and Umeh stretching the visitors, not much in the middle though - corners and set-pieces wasted, and their good defending.

Shame no Kymani-Gordon he has been shipped out again.

Hard one to call I'm not sure about us defensively.

Still be positive.

Is Imray of the standard to do a job for us at right back in the seniors yet?

I can remember another RB, who was forced into playing against Spurs, whatever happened to him, what i have seen of Imray, (only on Palace TV) he looks to me, apart from Ozoh to be next best for the step up IMO

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Not under Roy, no.

He is however a 'pocket battleship' small(ish) tenacious in the tackle, gets forward & can cross a ball.

That's almost all the words I would use to describe the kind of RB I'd like us to have in the first team.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

FT 1-1

Uninspiring 2nd half, could've nicked it at the death. This 'should' guarantee progress to the knockout stages. Must need to play better tho, off day, hope so. Imray stand out player today for me closely followed by Umeh, god that lad has seriously good pace. Rest of the lads were, imo, workman like. Happy to hear other posters thoughts that watched the game.
