Interesting that clubs are now being charged by the FA, Forest, City and Everton again, Always thought we were close to the wind on this, we have a tangled web of companies involved in the running of our club

No . You have to buy and sell players to be involved in trivial matters such as FFP.

The Beeb also reckon it excludes Academy expenditure, plus you are allowed to make losses up to 105m across a 3 year period. While wealthy compared to me, I don't think our owners can afford to make those kind of losses: they don't have a bottomless pool to dip into like the oil princes.

Two of our shareholders could. Easily.

I think its more out of principle, SP wont want to waste money paying off FFP fines & having to explain to H & B where that chunk of change went for decisions made under his stewardship. Originally posted by antipodeagle

Pedant Warning! Although we all refer to the rules as FFP, technically the PL rules are PSR = Profit and Sustainabilty Regulations. FFP are UEFA's rules and they are different. Pedant alert over.

i also read that the Prem will be introducing rules to limit wages, including agents fees etc, to 70% of income. A year or so ago Palace had the highest wage % in the Prem at 78%. I am sure it is lower now as the 4 on over £100k a week have left (Zaha, Meyer, Tekkers and Sakho), however, we have increased our wages recently with Henderson, Eze and Olise now all on £100k.

Apparently the Premier League has been investigating Palace for FFP for 5 years, and has today concluded that we need to spend more and has given us an additional 10 points.
Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

It's about time that moneyball adds points for money or lack of it. So if you spend LESS than the quota you actually get more points.
