I have been watching him for the few games he came on and he seems to have changed his game an awful lot , he doesn't seem to want to take on defenders like he used to with us and shoot or just lose the ball , he is getting alot more crosses in , i dont know if its down to his lack of turning speed or under orders or tactics, but a proper crossing winger.

So let's figure this out: Zaha wanted away, his contract runs down and he finally gets his wish - one must add to a club that reflects his declining performances and ability - and some would be happy to see him back? Yeah ok.

Obviously his best years are behind him, and my first reaction is no we’ve moved on, but a loan till the end of the season wouldn’t hurt because with Eze and Olise seeming to be a bit fragile picking up injuries now and then, Wilf as cover would be handy. Well I am sure Parish would be up for it as he does like the return of people well past their sell by date. But no. He has hardly been pulling up trees in Turkey and now looks well short of pace and confidence. Some on here do love clutching at straws Edited by orpingtoneagle (06 Jan 2024 11.57am)
