I HOPE WE KEEP ROY until the end of the season

I wrote a comment on another thread about slating Roy because I'm totally done with the Premier league. Over 10 years in this division and were still no better than when we got promoted That I'm tired of being here. Every time when we think we are making the next step, reality strikes. What's the point? We're not having fun anymore. Seeing Brighton not only overtake us slightly, but completely zoom past us at 1000mph and gain Europer league status and finish top of their group. I've come to the point I'd rather be a yo yo club again. The 1 season in the Prem after promotion is more special than 10 years of dross I actually can't wait to come back to the championship. Imagine being able win 5/6 games on the trot. Imagine being able to get an away ticket for any game without the need of 9000 loyalty points. After some hard thought. . . .Let's prey that parish keeps to his senses and keeps hold of Roy so he can steer back to the place where we fit most. Our home, the championship. COME ON ROY! TAKE US BACK HOME

Matches where we under perform are very annoying, the bed wetters come out of the woodwork and moan like pigs in an abattoir. Suck it up it's part of the game.

i have always maintained that the Championship is fantastic entertainment.....lots of goals, real fans, real players, affordable tickets.... and also that the Prem is everything that is wrong with modern football. Destroyed by money.....and a yawning gap between the top 6 teams and everybody else. my vote is always for us to keep Roy. If our players are not good enough, that is a money problem. It saddened me to see a dejected Roy after that game last week.....his post match interview sounded like a broken man. Prem survival was always my hope. Anything above that is a bonus. The levels of ingratitude from so many Eagles on here saddens me. If you want to win Prem games every week, could you please f...ckoff and support Arsenal, Liverpool or Man Citeh.

Is it too much to expect us to win say 6 out of 19 games rather than 4? To give it a go in matches against good teams as we did against City? If we’re going to get relegated at least let us go down fighting. ATM we’re just disappearing down a toilet of dull scared defensive football.

There is however a slight case of mixed metaphors here in that I don't believe pigs come out of the wordwork prior to arriving at the abattoir. That aside, I am very happy for you that your bed is dry and that you are happy in the sucking department. But how dull it would be if everyone on this site was all of the same mind.

I've never understood the logic of hoping for relegation. I want Palace to be at the highest position they can muster. Sure the football isn't great but I can remember times in the Championship just as bad if not worse. If we get relegated the decent half of the team will walk, the stadium may not be re-built and the only investors on the horizon will be sharks. Ask Charlton fans if they are glad it happened to them. I look at their forum and they dream of the PL.
