It is obvious we miss him and a return would boost our attacking options if he plays with Olise and Eze.

The recent suspension of Turkish football after the attack on a referee could be a factor and if Galatasaray don't qualify in the Champions League, plus the apparent racism against black families all might be powerful incentives for him to return home to a club he has loved, and been loved by, for many years.

He has passed his best I agree but his skill and goals would be a big asset in these troubled times.

If he is fit and wants to come back I would welcome it.

Yes. This will mark his 3rd spell at the club, equalling Dougie's record of 3 as Player - Manager - Director of Football.

It's harsh on Roy, as at his age it's not very likely he'll match or exceed that record but then again, he only has to last out to 77 after the next Manager has failed with no budget, and he will get his 3rd run as Manager.

In the summer, I'm thinking Bolasie and Townsend will get their 2nd runs in the Team as our only loan signings and this will hopefully push the likes of Clyne and Ward to let their contracts expire and then comeback if they want to achieve greatness at our Club.

I find it so inspiring that Parish has decided on this approach as the most crucial target for members of the Team, rather than silly things like league place finish, good scouting, style of play etc.

Why would he come back to the s*** show we have going on at the club right now.

He's under contract with Gala so there would have to be a fee involved. if they have to release him for financial restraints and he returns to UK. doubtful, more likely to end up at Chelsea than us. If we're that desperate Why not put in a bid for Townsend!
