Yup Parish has his faults but the idea he is not ambitious for this club is not one of them.

It is often said that their are buyers out there but Parish blocks them because he does want to lose control, I really don't buy that and I cite Manchester United, Newcastle and Charlton as my evidence.

In all 3 cases there have been multiple willing buyers and a reluctant seller, in all cases the potential buyers have used the media to put pressure on the owners to sell.

I am not aware of any thwarted buyer going to the press and saying I have big plans for Palace but Steve Parish et al won't sell.

One more point

I dont envisage Parish going to Dougie and Roy and saying, I know lets buy Franca and Hendersen, do you.

The timing of Henderson was unfortunate (when we had more need for other positions) but I don't think anyone will have any complaints when/if he gets fit!
