I would like to see a smart psephologist do some predictions on how many seats and where Labour would lose if the muslim vote went away.

You can imagine the Friday prayer leaders emphasising Starmer has a Jewish wife who would be on the Hamas hit list

so where will the muslim vote go? The Tories, who have an even stronger allegiance with Israel (Sunak - we hope you win)?

Do you think Israel are listening to the leader of the opposition? It's a nothing story

The vote may well stay at home or look for any independent in the style of Respect.

If you think the story is about whether or not Israel listens to any UK politician you are completely missing the point.

So Islam is already impacting on British politics and we have a Cobra meeting about domestic security.

The chickens have come home to roost.

Shame they won't just boycott Europe altogether.

An interesting insertion of "already". It's been happening for years.

Point taken.

Muslim votes have swung some seats for a number of years but this time they could turn an almost certain Labour win into defeat and not just by voting themselves. There are a significant number of people who see Starmer's support of Israel as a betrayal of traditional Leftist support for Palestine.

It will also be all about Islam in the wider world and not about domestic policy. Meanwhile, the Jew hating loony left making trouble for Labour once again.

One most wonder, much like UKIP, when is there going to be a political coalition whose message is going to be anti-immigration/deportations before ANYTHING else.

[Link]

Seriously, what ARE people like that doing in the UK?

He's a British citizen born in Britain so I'm not sure where else he would be.

He says abhorrent things, but it's got nothing to do with immigration or deportations.

I'm also not sure how much more hardline a stance can we get than Braverman's.

regarding the title of the OP.

isn't it curious how Muslims stood with Labour thus far ? Two completely disparate tribes.

- LGBTQ
- Feminism, working career-girls,

- Industrial Trade Unionism
- Secular Socialism

- Abortion, contraception, sex outside marriage, alternative Parenting choices,
- the Separation of Church & State

- people happy with high taxation
- Multiculturalism accepted as a good thing

- ethics on animal cruelty

not very concordant....the two tribes

Yep, the reality of the situation isn't new and has been known for a very long time...it's just logic.

No one says it because of the usual reasons but they will obviously look towards their own ethnically and religiously based representation once they feel comfortable with the numbers within an area.

Neo and social liberals ultimately end up destroying all the achievements of their ancestors. They deserve all the criticism they avoid by capture of the megaphone.....as they seek to avoid accountability at every turn.

When this happens, as is inevitable, expect them to try to portray it as some kind of success.
