Starmer will ride the storm. When this all blows over, and the population transfer becomes an open policy, he will position Labour as being all for it. Probably one of the reasons the Tories will be so keen to sit out the next 5 years in Government.

Perhaps even, (and here I can accept some accusations of being a little OTT but what the hell!) use it as a tool to get people to vote for us to rejoin the EU. Present it as the UK wishing to play its part in an EU-driven resettlement programme for Palestinians.

Maybe even frame it in that kind of light i.e only racists would vote for us to remain outside? But again, possibly me being me.

But if I was a British Muslim who seriously thought Labour was on its side, then I would be reconsidering that. Might even see Islam taking on its own political shape in the UK with Tower Hamlets, which barely gets a mention in our press, as the template for how that might pan out.

Of course what we want from Sunak, Starmer and Mr Senile is to call out the disgusting Hamas attack but also call out Israel when it becomes overly vengeful and let’s face almost opportunist in wiping out Gaza. All civilised countries have to act with constraint and have the moral high ground over barbaric terrorists.

Israel unfortunately seems to be alienating the international community at a time when we should be supporting it and applauding it’s proportionate civilised reaction at such a sad time.

Not to worry it was just a little lapse I mean it's not like being COE requires attention to detail I mean what's the worst that could happen if she gets it wrong.

Which reminds me of the small local council who recently approved a road extension budget which due to a typo was 10 times the actual figure and none of them including the opposition spotted it.
