That’s OK
Look around us and we’re doing just fine…BUT
Roy has limited options for selection
The key it seems to me, is to get the wounded fit to play quicker
How wounded are they?
But for me the bigger question is…why do these super paid youngsters get injured so frequently….
How about they sacrifice their ridiculous wages when they are not fit to play!

4 clean sheets, 3 in a row. If we get a few of our attacking players back after the break we will have a solid team.

Could look a bit different after the next two games, but it just reinforces what a failure the transfer window was. If the obvious weak links at RB, LW and CF had been addressed then we could easily be top six at the moment despite the injuries

Every team above us has scored more than twice as many goals

I would suggest it isn’t the positions you mentioned that has caused the problems it’s the two central midfielders missing?

12 points after 8 matches is excellent, isn't it? Particularly in light of our injury burden. It would equate to 57 points for the season.

I think it was mentioned in commentary in the Forest game that we haven't conceded from a corner this season. Don't remember if that's correct but if it is, and without putting the mockers on it, that's a huge improvement on last year when corners felt like penalties.

We’ve had a couple of poor home performances recently with all the injuries mounting up, but we’ve ground out a couple of points, recent seasons we probably would’ve lost both those games. So despite the injuries we’re still chipping away at the points total which is good. Also to win at old Trafford whatever state they’re in is excellent, so we’ve got to be happy.

We’re 9th, safely ensconced between Newcastle and Man Utd.

A poor/lightweight transfer window has left us light on numbers and we have enough injuries to warrant labelling it a ‘crisis’ on top of that. Still got a win at old Trafford and as others have said, 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games.

We’ve a good run of games in November with a very difficult Xmas period however we’ve started well. With players returning from injury we should be looking forward to a comfortable 2024.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Given our thin squad coupled with the growing injury list it's difficult not to give a huge amount of credit to RH. He knows the club, he cares about the club, he's a decent coach and the players seem to respect him. That creditable points haul is largely to do with his steady hand.

RH may not be the future but he sure is the present: we owe him a lot.

Given where we are with the squad limitations and injuries, we are doing well.

Its obviously frustrating as it felt like there were wins to be had against Forrest, Villa and Fulham.

What bodes well, it that we doing well defensively as a unit. Add in 2/3 flair players to this team and we'll hopefully look a more dynamic unit.
