I'm with Keegan on this. Not just female commentators talking about the men's game, but female commentators generally.

I don't know what it is, but they they always seem to be strident and loud as if they are trying too hard to make their mark.

Sorry ladies, I know this sounds sexist and I'm really not, just blame my sense of hearing, or lack of it.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

There are some female ones I don't mind and some I don't like. There's a Scouse one, think she's Everton, on Sky who seems ok. I usually just about agree with her. I don't like Alex Scott but who does?
In that way, I don't find it much different to the men. Can't stand Shearer, Lineker but don't mind Neville, for example, which is possibly sacrilegious on here.
I don't like Wright but like Clinton. Those kind of things.
Although clearly I'm not up on the names of the women. Want to say Sue something for the scouser.

His point is that 22 men on a pitch is totally different to 22 women. Put 11 men against 11 women and his point is probably proved. He’s not anti commentary by women.
In todays woke society he will never be able to explain his point without someone reading it wrong.
