With a goalkeeper, a back four (albeit a questionmark on Ward), and a midfield trio of pure Premier League class things should look bright this season.

But the attack, OMG, although both wingers working hard, all championship level.

Things will hopefully brighten once Olise is back, but how on earth are we going to score more than the occasional goal until then?

I fear we might very well be in the botton three, hoping Olise can carry the pressure of lifting us immidiately upon return.

Need to get Schlupp out the team, I'd rather play ayew on the left and start rak sakyi.

Two games in and the doom and gloom merchants are at it again.
No problem we will be in the top half around Christmas time .

Rak Sakyi did look good but he needs more than 10 mins.

Injuries would be my main concern, oh and the fact that it doesn't look like anyone else is coming in, other than perhaps Henderson as a keeper.

Ideally another left back, a left winger and at least one more forward on top of the goalkeeper. However, we have had 7 weeks and got two in, so can't see 4 coming in just over a week.

Think we'll be fine if we don't have too many injuries (finish 14th - 16th), but it hit a bad run of injuries and the trap door could certainly open.

Really? Haven’t we got the same forward line who battered teams at the end of last season when Wilf was out

Can every wait until the morning of Sept 2nd, and then access the squad

Why are you panicking after 2 games, which we won one and gave Arsenal a tough game in the other? The transfer window isn’t closed yet.

With Olise back we just need an experienced Centre Forward like Ichenaeo.

Clearly not as Olise is injured.

Ajew was playing on the left in Wilf's absence with Olise on the right.

Schlupp is a poor replacement and yet there are not many other options.

No you are right

But there is no point buying a temp Olise replacement is there. We just need to do the best we can until Olise is back, Franca is ready to contribute and potentially JRS has a few more mins under his belt.

I’m not sure “Schlupp is a poor replacement” Yes, we need a stronger 11 but he is a quality player required for the bench and to play when needed. Thought the balance of our team was good against a team that have spent millions and will be title contenders. If they had checked the foul leading up to the penalty we may just have got a draw? I’m optimistic for the coming season, especially if we get a few new signings that are badly required :-)
