Blimey! Was it just me or was all the Advertising screens around the ground a bit much? I did enjoy the fire and red and blue things they have added to the match day tho.

At least they were legal & on the pitch, unlike in the LWH with illegal flares/pyrotechnics. Huge fine incoming from the FA to the club, still, 'no pyro, no party' especially as they don't have to pay the fine.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I liked the bright colours & the flames, gave it a bit of a party atmosphere - just one thing though, arent the company that advertise with the Chinese looking writing on our blue signage background a betting company? I thought we had made a bit of a stand against taking revenue from betting companies, or am I mistaken?

Always a bit of a gamble in my experience.

Felt very 'American' last night. Have to say the phrase 'lipstick on a pig' does come to mind but that's more resentment over not getting the capacity increased first. Did somewhat enjoy it all too I have to say. Way to go the Eagles! Super Duper!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Good work. So far we have:

*Advertising screens too bright
*Flares illegal
*Chinese signage could relate to gambling
*Too ‘American’
*Capacity too small

Please take note Mr Parish.

You need to make money to spend money. It's how the game is now unfortunately, so I don't have a problem with it. I did think it's odd having the advertising screens on the Arthur Wait stand, considering it doesn't get shown at all by the TV cameras

I bloody loved it to be honest.

The blue and white Chinese stuff was a bit distracting, but the reast was ok. Thought it looked ace when palace branded.

I was dreaming of my view when the mainstand is completed. Will be epic

What I loved was the top of the Arthur in red and blue stripes with the clock in the middle, how it used to look in the 70's....but even better at night all lit up.

Surely you realise that SP's darling hooligans are above the law and exempt from all stadium regulations so they've done nothing wrong.

For all the lights and flares I dont actually remember anything that was being advertised .

Which kinda means it was a waste of time if they were hoping I would buy anything

That’s not our concern though is it? They’ve paid their money, it’s all brand awareness by the end of the season, they can assess whether their expenditure v increase in sales is warranted for another season. If not I’m sure there will be a long list potential parties.
