They truly are abysmal, if nothing changes I’ll be shocked to see them survive the season and if they do not, I shall rejoice. There was literally nothing positive, not one ray of hope, I could say about their performance today. Seen plenty of seemingly hopeless scenarios with Palace but was never as bad as they look currently. Edited by Nicholas91 (20 Aug 2023 3.45pm)
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

They are very poor thats for sure . They have a FFP hearing on 25th October so wont be spending any money ,the teams in dissaray and Dyche will lose the will (if he hasnt already) and will churn out defeats until he is sacked . He may even just walk . A points deduction looks inevitable and the relegation that has looked likely in recent seasons will be staring them in the face . (hope thats cheered you up Nicholas )

It's early days of course, but they do look likely candidates for the drop which will please me no end. They've only clung on to the PL by their fingernails for the last couple of years. On
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Even the battle scarred relegation warrior Sean Dyche looks like he’s going to struggle to save them this season

Let's not get too smug until we've beaten them at least once, shall we?

0-1 down to the team with one point from five games at the bottom of the football league. Goal miles offside too. Delicious.
