Palace move for Dennis By Charlie Parker-Turner Crystal Palace have registered an interest in signing Nottingham Forest’s Emmanuel Dennis as they look to bolster their forward ranks. The Nigeria international worked with Roy Hodgson at Watford, and the veteran manager is the driving force behind the recent enquiry. Dennis made just 19 Premier League appearances for Forest last season, though he is not short of interest this summer. Serie A sides Bologna and Atalanta also have the 25-year-old in their sights, with Spanish outfit Villarreal monitoring his situation closely.
Signed for Nottingham Forrest for around £15m. Interesting to see them specifically mention Roy’s interest.

According to the Daily Mail, the squad at Vicarage Road were delighted to see the back of him. They said the dressing room "will be a far more harmonious place" following his departure. Several members of the Watford team were not afraid to express their delight once he had left.

When he signed for Watford I think he had a good first season? Anyway he looked good on MOTD regularly at one point but then faded away. If Roy can find that player...

I have an image of him being the kind of player who is capable however being capable is usually not enough. I'd rather someone who provides a constant threat then does something admirable 4 or 5 times a season. I could well be wrong though not massively familiar with him.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Agent pressing for a transfer. Plants clickbait suggesting a move to Palace, not because we have enquired, but because it is widely reported that Mateta seems destined for the door. Hodgson's fleeting acquaintance justifies claim that it is our Roy pressing the club for the move. Truth: club has made no approach and Roy is none the wiser. Of course I could be wrong, but since they are still today rehashing stories of Olise going to Chelsea in a couple of days...

I thought Dennis looked decent at Watford although I haven’t seen that much of him at Forest. Mateta isn’t the answer and given the same playing minutes Dennis would not be scoring any less so I would be happy to move on JPM and give Dennis a go.

Always seemed very in and out of games , more out than in to me. This seems like another ,he might fit by our click bait friends. They have heard the last might fit ,Che Adams, looks like going to Everton . Who’s next? Oh what about Dennis.
