Maybe a bit early but I need some advice. How can I get a ticket with the Palace fans for the match at Home Park ?

I have been a Palace supporter for over 60 years and now live just over the Tamar in Cornwall. Plymouth is only 12 miles away and this is the first opportunity to see them play for a long time
( v Brighton at home with Zaha and Bolasie on the wings...).

Chances of me venturing up to Selhurst for games are non-existent so I do not have any club membership.

What is the best way to get a ticket ?

Plymouth will have general tickets from Wednesday but I'd rather sit with Palace fans.

Unless a Palace member can get one for me ( nudge, nudge ).

I visited the box office on Friday to ask when they would be on sale. I was told that the announcement was likely to be made later that day as to how applications would be handled. That is to say, how much points you needed to get priority. And that the sales would be opened on the website today.
Nothing so far.

Typical Palace screw up. The game is next Tuesday and Monday is a bank holiday so no post!!!! The tickets are not even on the website.

They send the tickets out 2nd class post so even if you purchase today they probably wont arrive in time.

Anyone going will have to leave early on Tuesday before the post arrives.

I ordered a spurs ticket the first time we played them. Ticket was a no show before I left for work that morning. I spent hours at the spurs box office with emails proving I had ordered it. It arrived two days later 2nd class.

Nothing seems to have changed. I despair sometimes I really do.

In view of this info, I visited the ticket office just now (couldn't get through on the phone, obvs - permanently engaged).
Managed to prise out the following information: tickets that were sold previously - that was "a mistake". They will announce on website when tickets go on sale for real. But no idea when. Tickets will be issued as pdfs.

They were busy with people trying to sort out their season tickets for tonight! Oldish chap wanted a plastic card. He was told he had to email ticket manager who would decide. He wanted ticket for tonight. Oh well, they could give him a paper ticket for tonight. Several people having similar conversations. It was impossible to get through by phone, btw. Listened to the recorded messages which then defaulted to permanent engaged.
