Been on my mind for a while now, but are the terms 'John Doe' and 'Jane Doe' still appropriate in modern society as it assumes the gender identity of a corpse. Should we be thinking about Jo Doe as an option as Jo can be short for Joseph or Joanna? If you'd permit me to stray from a J based replacement, perhaps Alex or Bobbie are also suitable gender unbiased options for mystery cadavers?
