Textor or Parish?

Investors come and go but fans are fans forever. Textor is an investor Parish is an investor because he is a fan. Parish for me as he has the longer term interests at the centre of his thinking rather than short term investment thinking of Textor.COYP

Textor SP has done well but we need to move on. he doesn't appear to know how to do this also the stories you hear with him being so close to players etc is not good for business (He doesn't have any funds to put in either and look how poor the fiances are this shouldn't be the case after decade in the league with him over paying wages etc) Messing about with stadium as well.

If Textor wants more control why hasn't he bought out one or both of the major shareholders? Parish has impressed me over 13 years, so far nothing Textor has done with his multi club ownership model has. Maybe Textor knows more about football than Dougie but maybe he is just playing monopoly with players at his other clubs and Parish wont allow him to lumber us with them. Parish for me all day.

I know it's only part of some click bait BUT this isn't good press for Textor The issue of trust is vital and Textor has yet to gain mine, so whilst I accept certain limitations with Parish at the helm, I am confident that he has the club's interests at heart - the only issue being whether he will know when it's time to pass on the baton.

1000% Parish! He may not be perfect but I believe he has the best interests of the club at heart. I was excited when Textor invested - he said and did all the right things. Now I am really not sure about him at all. I don't believe he has substantial funds of his own and whilst he says he wants to spend more cash I am not convinced he has it. He has been over ambitious with his multi club ownership model and all the clubs will suffer in some way. Very convenient for him to now say everyone else is blocking him. As for his talent for spotting players I would rather put my trust in Dougie & Steve. Jacob Montes anyone?
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |
