I don't really watch these films - life's too short - however 'Notting Hill' always makes me laugh (yes, yes, I know Hugh Grant is in it). It's incredibly well-written (yes, yes, by lefty Curtis and co) and delivered.

Not a 'Com' but a classic 'Rom' is 'Random Harvest' (1942) starring Ronald Colman and Greer Garson. It received a number of Academy Award nominations, including for best actor and best picture.
