It was a masterful performance by a real pro. Great rapport with his audience. Nice bloke too by all accounts. RIP Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. Yep, I too saw his show at the Albert Hall, a few years earlier when he was 83 I think. It was a masterful performance by a real pro. Great rapport with his audience. Nice bloke too by all accounts. RIP

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
