As Wilfried Zaha is no longer a registered Palace player we can hopefully comment on should Palace try to resign or not.

My own view is that while he has been our best player for a number of years we should move on and look back with thanks.

There is already an established Zaha thread(about 5 below this one) in Palace Talk & why is this in Transfer Talk? Mods, please merge threads, thank you.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Like a number of people on this site, I'm concerned at: If he were to sign say a 2 year contract (with a 1 year option at the club's discretion) and at no more than 100k a week I would be reasonably happy. He's no longer worth the money we were paying him IMO. Like I've said several times before, he has scored all of ONE goal since the World Cup and just 3 assists over the whole of last season - his star is on the wane and if the club decide to move on without him, I would not be unhappy.

Fair play fella, your post makes sense.

I'd sign him on a free, we have no one else in that position. West Ham won't be after him with Moyes in charge so we have half a chance.

What's crucial to the club is to avoid another poor transfer window and ensure that we have depth covered in all positions. At present, the lack of activity worries me that we could be the next Burnley to fall out of the Premiership with too small a squad of quality players able to compete in this league.

He will re-sign. Nobody is interested in him - Saudi or Turkey seem to be his only options, none of the big boys interested. Too inconsistent and goes missing against the bigger sides.

Seems a bit of a risk. I read up on him on Wiki and he's failed at 2 of the 3 clubs he played for

Fully agree but Mods please merge, as one thread about this saga is already more than enough!
