Surely dyslexics or other neuro-diversity also need a hand up ? Kids with English as a second language ? Or the Michael Ballack school of football ? You have a natural talent so you get extra coaching

At my daughters' school (two daughters, to calm any fellow pedants out there), the thick, disruptive, dyslexic, ADHD etc. kids got extra tuition, the "gifted and talented" got extra tuition but the poor kids in the middle had to muddle through and work it out for themselves

In the following year all her friends went into one class and my daughter and the 2 bad girls went into another. She was used as a calming agent with little regard for my daughter. 3 years later the same thing for my son. One kid had severe anger issues requiring his own full time carer. When he blew he trashed the place and had to be carried away by 4 adults. My son has empathy and this kid liked him. So, once again, the classes were changed with my sons best mates going one way and son plus anger boy going the other way. This time we moved authority and school but these social experiments were undertaken with no thought whatsoever for my children.

Whilst it is an admirable aim not all children can be taught in mainstream education and it seems there is little thought is given to the disruption they cause with the rest of the class.

The problem with Left wing thinking is this obsession with equality and fairness. There is hierarchy everywhere. Get over it. Even chickens have a "Pecking order". And no two snowflakes are identical. You cannot shove a munter into the Miss Universe competition. Nor a slow coach into Olympic sprinting,.... nor an academic underachiever into Cambridge medical school. To socially engineer society will always end in anachronism and failure. So only white lessons would help, as I don't live in the UK and I can say what I want if I'm polite, I'm fed up helping blacks and now lots off Muslims, why can't everyone be just equal, never will happen
