Look like an early 90s rave mixed with Bingo. What's not to like? Presumably the bingo cards are Acid smilies.

I have, many years ago. Whatever you do, don’t talk or make a noise during the game, it gets very serious

Especially if you distract someone who could have won the snowball. I understand.

They're usually a bit old for those type of snowball shenanigans.

That's what I thought. I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

I'm a bit queasy today with a hangover and that hasn't helped.

I feel sorry for people that don't drink, because when they wake up in the morning, that is the best they are going to feel all day.

My mum used to enjoy a game of bingo during our family seaside holidays. I particularly remember the caller at Sandown on the IOW who had a lot of rhyming slang for the numbers' such as Danny le Rue, 52 and two fat ladies, 88. Couldn't say that today. Can't remember any more, but I bet others can.

The bingo was a jolly interlude for Mum, but sadly today that little avenue of pleasure has been cut off by the miserable wokeists.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I have to admit and I’m amongst friends that my first outing with my mrs was to a social club. Yup I played bingo as it was a Tuesday ‘thing’.
I let slip on the building site and to this day many people will still know me as ‘bingo’ if I met up with them. I was wound up when it first got called to me but after a while it was more affectionate and accepted. First it was ‘Johnny bingo’ but then shortened. Once the laughter died down that was and is my name. If any of you work around 50 somethings on building sites in the pipe fitting welding divisions I guarantee someone somewhere will know me.
