I’m back for those that are interested as I have a few private dm’s asking for updates: Manager - Roy Hodgson will sign new 1yr deal & will be confirmed next week Zaha - still 50/50 as undecided current on his Stag & decision will be made on his return, he really likes Roy so this may help in his decision - personally I think he will leave. We will lose one other player not sure who but more than likely Guehi but we will see. We have around £30m to spend if Zaha goes this increases to around 70m as Wilf would have been on around £10m a season over 4 years so that equates to £40m. This would allow palace to sign a further 2 players for say £20m on 5 year deals which including wages would come to £40m. Things should start to take shape in the next 2 weeks. Do not worry their will not a mass Exodus of players despite what you read online & we will be asking for big money Guehi as an example would £70m or £60m with add-ons Edited by dazza (25 Jun 2023 1.03pm)

If your figures are correct, if Zaha leaves and Guehi goes for £60m, that means we would have £130m to spend on transfers

Everything I read when we signed Guehi stated there was an opportunity for Chelsea to match the best offer we received for him if they wished to and that’s it. There was no mention of them getting a cut of the sale price. Happy to be proved wrong but this was my understanding of the deal.
