Wycombe fan here. Our forum decided to pass the boring part of the summer by having a 'Battle of the Badges' tournament, to find the best crest of the 92. We excluded ourselves (we don't think we have the best badge anyway, but it still could have affected early results). We had an elimination round, to vote for the worst badges in each division and get down to 64. In the Group Stage, Palace won theirs with the largest percentage of any group winner at 68.52%, beating Notts County, Tottenham and Carlisle to qualify from Group C. In the Round of 16, you met your old friends (ahem) Brighton, and it was a little how you would expect when an Eagle fights a Seagull...the biggest rout of any knockout matchup at 86.67% to 13.33. In the Quarterfinals, Palace again won handily, beating Leyton Orient 64.71% to 35.29%. In the Semifinals, Liverpool were up, and it was another rout of almost Brighton proportions, 78.26% to 21.74%. The final was a sterling matchup with Blackburn Rovers and their famous red rose, and though they put up the best fight yet, it was again a decent margin of 60%-40%. So well done Palace! A tiny group of Wycombe fans think your crest is the best of the 92. What do you think? Hopefully this is not the point where I find out you all hate it!

Lol, fantastic. What a good way to while away the non-footballing period! I applaud you sir. You may wish to know that it was not that long ago that we did a bit of a facelift of the club badge. It was nearly one of these: Not sure we'd have won if it was. (PS...Does winning this auspicious competition get us a Euro place?)

Thanks Shev for taking the time to tell us. I'm one fan who is very happy with our badge as I was with last season's first team strips. I'm reserving judgment on the new home strip until I've seen it live at Selhurst Park. Solid season for your boys last season. Let's hope you can move up from there. Thanks Shev. Great idea when there is no footie to be had and a gap between test matches. We, like you I suspect, have to make the most of any successes! I have a soft spot for Wycombe as my daughter went to Bucks New Uni just up the road. I also saw a Wycombe Palace friendly a few years back when Terry Venables was our manager. It was supposed to be the dawn of an exciting new era…… Best of luck for the coming season.

Thanks all! I wish Palace all success in the coming season too. You always come across as having great fans and actual atmosphere at your ground! We also still follow the career of Eze as he was on loan to us from QPR once upon a time, and was brilliant. Hopefully you can kick on this year.

Thanks for that. We are always desperate to win something! I quite like our crest as it features the Eagle , a more modern

Not quite sure we can fit any more into our bulging trophy cabinet. Thanks though.

We need to draw Wycombe in one of the cups, first of all it would be nice to play someone different and now we can have a bit of a love in with their fans as well

Touch the ball in the center circle and it rolls into the goal, the other way it's like Monty Python climbing Clapham High Street.

I wouldn’t know I’ve never been there, I did see them play Bromley about 30/40 years ago in the old Isthmian league, but other than that I know nothing!!
