I see we are favorites to sign him with SkyBet, haven't heard this mentioned anywhere.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Would be a great signing. 18 goals and 5 assists in 31 appearances last season. Are Newcastle really going to let him leave when they're in the CL? Would he really want to come to us? This seems like a non starter. Edit: Sorry Lanzo, but an England international with his scoring record is not taking a pay cut to come to us! Edited by taylors lovechild (06 Jun 2023 9.47am)

The only circumstance I can see him coming is if Newcastle quite candidly inform him they are 'moving on' and he doesn't figure in their plans. Possible given their financial position. He seems to be headed towards if not arrived at the decline in his ability to perform, given his age, however short term I'd gladly accept him at Palace. Will work hard and score goals. I see it as unlikely but not impossible.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I could see him accepting a deal to come to us if we say offered to double his wages, but that would be mad, but also not that unlikely!

Wilson on some kind of appearance linked pay is an absolute no brainer. My god yes. But probably bs

with Champions league football Newcastle won't consider losing a key striker. I also think the salary quoted is massively out. He is an England international so would hardly be earning a salary less than the Palace average. I did also see the £46k quoted when i googled it, but another site says £92k, and this seems more realistic IMHO. Callum Wilson earns £92,000 per week, £4,784,000 per year playing for Newcastle United F.C. as a ST. Callum Wilson's net worth is £25,500,800. Callum Wilson is 30 years old and was born in England. His current contract expires June 30, 2024.

Why on earth would Newcastle let him leave. And why would he want to leave?!
