Well, what do you think, has the board made any of them, Roy, New Manager, Wilf, Which players they want, and just not revealing, or is everything still undecided.

Good Morning Lanzo . Well if they have made any decisions they are definitely playing their cards close to their chests either that or they haven't learnt from previous mistakes and are totally clueless.I would like to think they have a plan , it would explain the early release of the new shirt for next season. Same for Roy he didn't seem to want to commit to whether he would or would not be manager next season . Surely the manager situation would have to be sorted before we start recruiting new players .

If Parish has offered Roy a new contract we would know by now. Both previous times Roy signed very quickly so negotiations don't appear to be complicated. My guess: Parish is looking at other managers. As for Wilf it does always seem to be a long drawn out affair with him but I am sure we have offered a generous contract and that it is Wilf that is stalling. My guess: I hope Parish has given him a deadline of the next couple of weeks we cannot afford to wait for ever whilst Wilf decides.

I think with Roy, they aren't competing with anyone else for him so they don't need to rush to appoint him. That means they can weigh up the other options. Given the rollercoaster of our previous searches, this one could take time. And we could still end up with Roy and Ray next season. Wilf's contract expires at the end of June. Now that the season is over, he can fully focus on what his next steps are and what serious offers he gets. Palace are signing Lerma from Bournemouth, so moving quickly to cover the departures of Macca and Luka. Overall I think we are where we should expect to be at this time.

Well I suspect the decision on Roy is made Wilf has an offer on the table And its not usual to release a shopping list at the start of hte transfer window!

The situation with Wilf is tricky. My guess is that Roy and Wilf will still be with us next season, but it's based on a feeling rather than hard evidence.
