Could it be a Middlesbrough v Sunderland final
Coventry been out of the top flight for some years could be a return for them

Or Luton with there 10,000 capacity ground

Yes, you've understood the concept of the playoffs very well.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

i think the thread should have been named who do we want to see promoted . Personally i would like Coventry, no to far to travel and plenty of room for away supporters unlike Lutons subuteo ground

Their current ground holds just over 10,000. I believe there are plans to move to a new stadium.

I have actually watched a game against our team from the stand behind the goal.As one makes one way up the stairs from the turnstiles, one is a very short distance from the windows of the terraced properties, affording the residents limited privacy.

Their last season in the top flight was 2000-01.
Mark Robins deserves great credit, taking Coventry from Division Two to the Championship and could lead them into the PL.
Not forgetting the fact that they played Home games at Birmingham City for 2 seasons.

Credit to Rob Edwards who took up the reins with Luton 10th after 21 games and they finished in 3rd place and into the play-offs.
Rob Edwards got Forest Green Rovers promoted into League One the season before last.
Whenever I have seen Luton play recently, central defender Tom Locker has caught my eye.

Luton finished 6th last season under Nathan Jones and lost to Huddersfield in the Play-Off semi-final.

Indeed, I was just going to say that given their problems off the field its remarkable that they have reached a place in the play offs.
