He's been our player of the season without any doubt. Michael seems to want to play for France rather than England, so playing for PSG might for him seem like a dream come true? But he seems a really quiet lad who might struggle in a new environment? One thing for sure is that Palace would resist selling him 100% which they'd probably do by putting a huge price tag on him. If Palace have any ambition at all, they absolutely must hang on to him. Testing times.

I’d say he’d be a massive gamble for PSG for whom money is no object and therefore most players are somewhat within grasp. They are also intent on winning a CL as opposed to building a team of up and coming players therefore would be something of a surprise if they were to acquire him with any intent to play him in the first team.

Perhaps Wilf can have a word with him regarding his United move? Not sure it would be too wise for Olise right now. He has expressed an intention to stay at Palace for another year at least however I can possibly see him outgrowing us and unlike Wilf may have slightly less ties to our club to keep him here.

I think that’s the reality however hope we can keep ahold of him for as long as possible. I’m very fond of him from what I’ve seen personality wise and subjectively love his playing style and ability. I’d be gutted but understanding were he to ‘move on’.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

If it's true then would depend on how much they are prepared to pay. Anything below £50m then no, but if they were to offer £100m plus can't really say no.

Agreed. Basically money talks and clubs like PSG who seem to have an endless stream of funds just have to identify how much they need to bid to persuade us to sell him. I imagine anything north of E60m could have Parish doing the deal. I would prefer Michael to stay another year so that JRS can have a season on loan in the Championship to show whether he'll be ready to slot into Michael's position in the 24/25 season.

Even at 100 mill id take it but id be worried that it would disappear into the coffers and not be invested in the squad to find a suitable replacement.

He has age on his side. He is still learning his trade, and no better place than in the premiership with Palace.

As mentioned, Money talks - and who could blame him if given the chance to play for PSG.

However, from the shy, reserved player who arrived at the club - he is now more confident on camera - and has many friends at the club

Palace can offer him - PL exposure, a regular place in the team & its been that exposure that has underlined his progress & development through the game & broadcast networks - clearly it hasn't done his international prospects any harm either -

At his age & development stage it would be great to have at least another season out of him before he goes up market -

PSG can offer him, living in Paris, more money, Regular domestic trophies (if he plays) or a place on the bench, CL exposure if he plays.

I guess the big question would be - if he goes to PSG , who in their match day squad would he be replacing ? do they have a plan to play him regularly, or if not, would the PSG interest still be there in a years time ? - would PSG consider buying him & loaning him to us for next season ?

Obviously I dont want him to go, but if he is going(Money talks) then what would be the best outcome for him & the club ?

I think it might be a season early for him, and us.

He's getting some attention, but not on the scale for someone to want to put up 60/70m.

And he seams to have a great relationship with Eze, and looks pretty settled. PSG is a big big move.

Parish could possibly surprise us by spending big in the summer, or rather Spending Textor's money? If he does it's possible that staying at an upwardly mobile club knocking at the door of Europe might be quite attractive to him? The real danger is if a club like Arsenal bid for him?

Yes, i agree, unless a ridiculous offer over 70m, and in another year Rak-Sakyi will be ready to slot in perfectly for permanent replacement

This is the reality of what most of you are advocating on here. Develop and then sell our best players for a profit. Or, wait too long and they go for a free, like Wilf.

Personally, I would rather keep the team together, offer new contracts regularly to our key players and slowly build the team, TV money pays for wages leaving some limited funds for buying young prospects.
If a player refuses a new contract with only a few years on their current one then that would be a signal to sell.

It is regularly said that we are only a couple of players off being a really good team. I also think we are a couple of players off being a really bad team.

The impression I get it that we are very tardy at offering new contracts and often leave it too late.
