Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

It's childish, nothing more... the bloke looks foolish and will regret doing it... he may be surrounded by people in his circle who will laugh it off, whatever..

Sticks and stones....

It's a non issue.

But its goner cost him his job, home, relationship and possibly bird; Is this gesture really worth that for someone. If so then he would’ve been better going pitch side and smacking him because of the team he plays for.

Legit question from someone who's never attended a PL game. Racist gestures aside, is this level of taunting typical?

As Son walks past the Palace fans, scores of them are jeering at him – really laying into him, pointing and yelling in a personal way. It looks as if he's only 10-20 feet from many of them, though it could be misleading because of the long camera lens.

He will be found somebody will grass him up more likely he will turn himself in.

Stupid thing to do.

I like Son I think he's a great player so I don't understand the hatred.

This is clearly a misunderstanding. It's similar to when I was accused of racial abuse against Bob Hazell of QPR, when all I was doing was singing the opening bars of my favourite song at the time, "Ooh, ooh, ooh, the funky gibbon (funky gibbon)" by 'The Goodies'. I expect this bloke had a piece of grit in his eye, or was wiping away his tears at an impending Palace defeat. Nothing to see here.

He is a great player. I was there and was surprised at the abuse he was given. The only reason I can think of, is that it was at a time the time wasting/ “game management” ( Willos words, not mine) was in full flow and he had to ushered off by the ref. No excuse fir the racist taunt though.
TBF to Son, he reacted in the perfect way by just smiling, no giving it back or showing what the score was. Thought he showed class, shame him and his teammates did not show similar class on the pitch

See my previous reply. I think it is typical and yes he was that close. As he went off near the halfway line, he could have walked the other way around the pitch but tbf, why should he. The section next to Palace fans had loads of Korean supporters, which I suspect is the norm and he would have known that. They are basically there to see him

He didn’t have to do it, it’s pretty 100pc clear what he’s doing. Idiot and he’ll get whatever’s coming to him.

It’s silly but the problem is social media will screenshot certain things , it could be completely innocent but got to be careful nowadays , at the end of the day these players earn more in a month than in my lifetime , I don’t condone racism in the slightest but why is football turning into such a flipping wet wipe society ? Can even sing a song without being looked at badly by the stewards

I haven't been to Spurs for a long time, but do the stewards there look badly at the Spurs fans when they carry out their anti-Semitic chanting? Or has that chanting now stopped?

Same as we can’t sing that terrible “homophobic song” against Brighton but they can quite happily sing “bunch of pikey scum hope you crash on your way home”
