Just back from the game. What a cock-up at the turnstiles getting in. I thought there was going to be some sort of crush outside the Holmesdale as everyone surged for the gates when they finally opened them. Ironic that the stewards were calling for people with plastic and paper tickets to come forward as they were working, when the club has forced digital tickets on us.

The highlight of this was When we were allowed through the gates (which could have gone very badly btw as no one even checked tickets , the ones still outside were singing “we’re the outside we’re the outside we’re the outside over ere” followed by us “we’re the inside we’re the inside , we’re the inside over ere Was brilliant to be fair

Yes, I am one of the oldies who were allowed to keep plastic season tickets on the grounds that we are useless at the hi-tech stuff. Which they then screw up.

I told the box office I lost my I phone and wasn’t replacing it. Got a plastic one now. Won’t have a ticket on my phone again. Easy to lend to someone and just easier.
